Wednesday, May 18th, was a free day till the evening, for a buffet dinner at the Inn after the daily Happy Hour. The surprise of the evening was a really enjoyable funky musical combo, made up of Norman Simmons '52 (Harmonica),  Juergen "Jake" Goldhagen '50 (Harmonica),  Joe Wiley (Clarinet) and Hilah Simmons (Guitar) who "rode herd" on the three guys, and reminded them repeatedly of the "Key of C!"  The music was a surprise but the audience's response, even more so, as they unexpectedly, enthusiastically, belted out the songs, including Bahay Kubo and Planting Rice, reading from our song sheets.

Thursday, the 4th day, was free all day and evening, so 25 of us went to the Pirate's House for a stick-to-your-ribs southern buffet lunch, that did not allow eating that night!
